In these times of dimness and socio-economic uncertainty, one tends to reflect on things worthy of hope. Redondo Mortgage Center is constantly striving to find ways of helping its community, be it in its day-to-day operations of conducting its business with passion for customer service with integrity and honesty, or in carrying out its social development projects.

This year, taking a more proactive stance in community building, RMC has launched its umbrella project called “RMC for a Cause” which will take on several initiatives that gives hope to the community.

First off in its calendar on September 10, 2011 is a blood drive for the benefit of the American Red Cross blood recipients. This event is open to the public and will give Redondo Beach residents an opportunity to come and help save lives. It will be held at the RMC parking grounds on 2305 W. 190^th Street, Redondo Beach, CA 90278.

“Sometimes when we tend to dwell on our own challenges, we forget to see that there are people in greater need.” Ruth Miranda, manager of RMC shares. “This initiative is an opportunity for us, as business operators in Redondo Beach for over 22 years, to give a chance to our neighbors to come and do something good. To give hope. To give life.”

As an incentive to its neighbors, RMC is offering a surprise gift to the first 50 registrants. Those who wish to come and donate blood must call 310-318-8999 or email mara@redondomortgage.com so that we can confirm with the American Red Cross that we have the minimum number of donors.

Just one pint of blood can help save three lives. RMC is hoping you can help save those three lives.
